Adjusting water management plans

The Royal Irrigation Department (RID) is monitoring the indirect impact of the "Matmo" flood on Thailand, causing heavy rain in the North, Northeast, and East from October 6-8. Discussions are underway to adjust management plans for the Sirikit and Bhumibol Dams, limiting combined water discharge to no more than 40-50 million cubic meters per day.
